Dr. Hughes is originally from Rochester, MN - home of the mighty Mayo Clinic. She attended the University of Minnesota for her degree of dentistry and graduated in 2011.

After 10 years of working for several different types of practices, she and Dr. Iburg decided it was time to create something of their own, tailored to their values, professionally and personally. And with that, West 7th Dental became a reality.

She keeps busy at home with her husband, two kids, and one pup, Harvey. As a family they enjoy trips to the cabin through the year and lots of home projects. One of her favorite pastimes is downhill skiing and she is hoping one or both of her kids will eventually join her! According to Dr. Hughes, the best part about dentistry is the problem solving and getting to know families.

Dr. Iburg is from Minnesota and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota. She continued at the U of MN for dental school, where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2011.

Dr. Iburg lives in Saint Paul with her husband and two kiddos. In her free time she loves to travel. Her favorite place to visit is Bolivia - where her mother’s family lives.

She’s especially fond of the historical architecture of Saint Paul and the West 7th neighborhood.

Her favorite thing about dentistry is getting to know patients and customizing care to meet their wants and needs.
